The Entrepreneurial Decision
By Donald F. Kuratko, Ray V. Montagno, and Frank J. Sabatine

The major purpose of this manual is to provide prospective entrepreneurs with a tool for self-analysis and pre-venture preparation.  Remember:  this manual is designed to be a learning tool for an entrepreneur, not an evaluation measure for judging good or bad. Entrepreneurs should use this manual to evaluate their ideas, their venture plans, and their entrepreneurial abilities before proceeding with their entrepreneurial venture.
In this light, The Entrepreneurial Decision is a valuable preparation tool for today’s entrepreneurs.  It is hoped that this manual will help entrepreneurs prepare themselves to create better ventures that will succeed. Many potential entrepreneurs are just beginning the entrepreneurial experience, and some of the material addressed here may seem completely new.  That’s fine.  It is important to complete each part, as best as each entrepreneur can, and seek advice on any segment that might appear difficult.
The authors are interested in the success of this manual in helping entrepreneurs.  It is important to know if certain parts were helpful or could be improved. All entrepreneurs who have used this manual are invited to submit suggestions.
