|  David B. Millard is a partner in the Indianapolis
office of Barnes & Thornburg law firm where he chairs the firm’s
Entrepreneurial Services Group. Mr. Millard counsels high growth
and middle-market businesses. Fueled by a passion for improving
the state’s business environment, Mr. Millard has dedicated
himself to organized efforts to support middle-market and high growth
businesses throughout Indiana. He has served as president of The
Venture Club of Indiana and the Entrepreneur’s Alliance of
Indiana and is chairman of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce Small
Business Council and the Midwest Entrepreneurial Education Center.
Mr. Millard serves on the Board and the Executive Committee of the
Indiana Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Millard received the Supporter
of Entrepreneurship and the Indiana Entrepreneur of the Year Awards
in 1997. In 2003, he received the Venture Club of Indiana’s
Cy Smith “Spirit of Entrepreneurship” Award. In 2002,
he was named Volunteer of the Year by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.
He was listed in Best Lawyers in America in 2000-01 and 2003-04.
