Child Rights Education for Professionals
Child Rights Education for Professionals (CRED-PRO) is an international initiative designed to develop educational programs on the human rights of children for professionals working with and for children to improve the development and quality of life of children.

Convention on the Rights of the Child

The Convention on the Rights of the Child is the first legally binding international instrument to incorporate the full range of human rights. very right spelled out in the Convention is inherent to the human dignity and harmonious development of every child. The Convention protects children's rights by setting standards in health care; education; and legal, civil and social services.

State of the World's Children Report
The 2006 State of the World's Children report focuses on excluded and invisible children who have no access to essential services, protection and participation.

Trick or Treat for UNICEF
Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF supports self-reflection and self-discovery, the development of values, skills and knowledge, as students help improve the lives of their peers around the world with health, education, equality and protection. Included is an online video, activities for the classroom, and how to get your fundraiser started.


UN Children's Day
The UN General Assembly recommended that all countries institute a Universal Children's Day to be observed as a day of worldwide fraternity and understanding between children. It recommended that the Day was to be observed also as a day of activity devoted to promoting the ideals and objectives of the Charter and the welfare of the children of the world.

Week of the Classroom Teacher
Since 1995, ACEI has sponsored a celebration of the Week of the Classroom Teacher to honor the dedication and professionalism of classroom teachers. This event encourages students, parents, and the general public to recognize the difference teachers make in the lives of children, their schools and community.

 World AIDS Day
World AIDS Day is about getting involved so that everyone can make a difference in the global fight against HIV and AIDS.
