8/6/03 - Hey all you peeps, I have something here that's quite unusual. Well, BBB desktops are not unusual in and of themselves. But the unusual part, you see, is that I drew it with a pencil three years ago, totally butchered what I was trying to do with it because I hadn't learned Photoshop too well yet, and just a few days ago dug out the original scan and played with it. Three main things about this desktop...
1. The font I used is Dragonmaster, as found on the cover of Dragon magazine (for all us RPG nerds). If you want it, go grab it up at 1001 Free Fonts.
2. The quote in the background is from Jazz Solo near the end, but it's from a different part of the story than I originally envisioned. What I was really illustrating was Jazz using Kamek's wand to fly up the side of his spire, which is what I tried to do in Photoshop (all that I sketched was her and the wand and I tried to CG the tower), but it turned out so bad that I killed the background and redid it all. And even though the quote is from when she begins the battle with Kamek by blasting a torrent of flames out of the wand, she's still using it to make wind in the pic. Oh well.
3. And why does she have wings?...Um...because wings are cool and dramatic? Part of the reason is that the pic was awfully empty behind her, and the other part is that I accidentally found out how to use the size fade option to make feathers while I was making the wind. So that's that.

Oh yeah! And there's also a hefty helping of -=StarSpector=- sprites in today's update. Have fun, yo.

P.S. I decided to reorganize the entire fanart section since it was getting hard to read...the format's now going to be Artist's Name - Pic's Title. So if you submit something, give it some kind of title, whether it be what it is (i.e. Jazz Spritesheet) or the title (Jazz in the Spotlight). And I think I used the conjunctive, which is dying out of English as a whole...wow.

8/01/03 - A Jazz desktop approaches. Command?

7/29/03 - It just got past midnight...meh. At any rate, there's a decent selection of various art here, most of it (all? I just forgot) of the spritey variety. Is it bad when your hard drive doesn't stop running?? I'm going to do this very quickly and shut this poor beast down...

3/21/03 - Hand-drawn non-Moppy fanart alert! Luke sent me a grand spanking FIVE pieces of artwork! One is a very determined Mega Man, and the other four are his own creation, Rose (her character design RAWKS). Let's see somebody else match THAT! *Tries to goad more people into sending things*

12/22/02 - I'm Grenade Joe Model 27-F, serial number 34T5YY-788434115-NM3600284-LLMN12059I803-36, subunit 45-QR6, and we finally have a bit of stuff NOT by Moppy! Pretty cool, huh? Keep it up, peeps! A rule, though...It MUST be something you made yourself. No grabbing things you find and submitting them as your own! Sprite sheets are good as long as it's not just a simple recolor. Put some work and thought into it and you'll soon see it gracing the Fan Art section. Well, enough out of me. Here's the new goods.
