Educational Technology has a long tradition in special
education. The T.E.A.C.H. lab in the Department of Special
Education is one example of the role of adaptive and
assistive learning technologies serving the needs of
students with special physical needs. Because of the
significant role special education has in educational
technology, the EDTEC program has two programmatic
connections with our colleagues in the Department of
Special Education.
SPCED 331 and 631
SPCED 661 is required in the graduate version of the
Computer Education License and SPCED
331 is strongly recommended as an elective in the
undergraduate license. We will usually list SPCED 331
and 631 in our course scheduling information so EDTEC
students can plan accordingly.
Exceptional Needs Mild Interventions Teaching
