Harshman Middle School students in Indianapolis want to keep their streams clean.

Our school is located next to a contaminated water way that drains into the White River in Indianapolis. Raw sewage overflow and pollution are the barriers that keep our community from using the water for fishing, boating and other recreation. Indiana's wildlife can be found in these waterways and the dangers associated with the contact of this water outweigh the benefits. The city of Indianapolis is doing their part in replacing the outdated sewer system, but we want to educate our community on simple things you can do to help improve the quality of life in Indianapolis.
