Pogue's Run and Pleasant Run

Through the intense, hands-on study of the city’s water, the students of Harshman Middle School became aware of a crucial, though invisible, problem at Pogue’s and Pleasant Runs.  As declared by the signs along the bank, combined sewer overflow often contaminated the streams following a big rain.  To become accustomed to the idea of hidden contents and even hidden danger of water, the class performed a series of tests to determine the unseen contents of various water samples.
