Alabama 

The UAB Center for Economic Education held 9 teacher workshops in mid-late June covering K-12 areas of interest.  Full Story.

Alaska

The Alaska Council on Economic Education has sponsored college credit economic education training, Mini-Society training, and a course on "Economics and the Presidency."   Full Story.

Georgia
The Georgia Council has established a new Web site.  Full Story.

Idaho
The Idaho State Center continues Mini-Society training, hires new staff, and hosts the Economic Summit. Full Story.

Illinois

The Illinois Council announces a new center, new staff at centers, and economics education programs and activities. Full Story.

Indiana

The Indiana Council for Economic Education (ICEE) publishes and disseminates a new curriculum for middle and high school teachers and develops a unified Web site for the Council and all Centers.  Full Story.

Kentucky

The Kentucky Council and its Centers use new publication with state school districts and announce a new Web site.   Full Story.

Maryland

The CEEM network just completed another record year of economic education programs for Maryland teachers and schools.  Full Story.

New York

Jean Caldwell retired as of May 7.  Andrew Parkes became council president
