|
Lab Apron
The lab apron is an integral part to the wardrobe of any Chemistry
student.
With 20 to 30 students in the same room, the use of many types of
chemicals,
and the large amount of glassware we have in the lab; your
clothing
and yourself could be in danger. To help prevent unwanted
damaging
of you and your clothes, a lab apron must always be worn. You may
notice
that the lab apron however does not protect your feet, therefore,
sandals
or any other open toed shoes are not allowed in the chemistry lab. |
Goggles

Goggles
Along with a lab apron, spills could also occur around you face.
The
most sensitive and vulnerable part of your face is your eyes.
Therefore,
goggles must be worn at all times in the lab. |
