Thermometers
Thermometers are typical chemistry equipment used to identify how hot a
substance
is. Most thermometers in a chemistry lab use the Celsius scale
that
is based on the freezing and boiling points of water. Because
thermometers
are round, they can roll off of lab tables. |

Test tubes and racks
Test tubes are exactly what the name implies: tubes used from
tests. Most often glass, test tubes can be heated if necessary or
it can be set in
a test tube rack to react over long periods of time. Test tubes
are
not graduated and are not effective devices for conducting experiments
requiring
large amounts of reactants. |
