I have lived most of my life in Indianapolis, Indiana and just recently moved to the Muncie, Indiana area. I am a graduate of Warren Central High School in Indianapolis. I pursued Human Biology and Secondary Education at the University of Indianapolis graduating in 2000. Following graduation, I taught mainly Chemistry, but also so Biology, at Cascade High School in Clayton, Indiana. During two of my three years at Cascade, I also served as the seventh grade volleyball coach. Currently, I am working on my Masters of Science Degree in Chemistry at Ball State University and am a PIE (Partners Investigating our Environment) Fellow working on the Globe Project. Following my Masters degree I plan to pursue my doctorate in Science Education.

| This picture shows me having a
good time lip-synching "I'm Too Sexy" by Right Said Fred. Prom
preview is an event were teachers show the students that having a good
time doesn't need to involve drugs or alcohol. It was one of the
special things that make Cascade a great place to teach. |
This picture show me under
attack from some moles that my students made for our celebration of
National Chemistry Week and Mole Day. Hopefully, my next Mole Day
celebration won't be so dangerous. |
