PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION

   As an educator, it is my chief goal to assist my students in continuing the knowledge they have previously acquired and to support them in their journey of life-long learning.  Students attain knowledge at home, at school, and in their personal environment.  It is my belief that combining these atmospheres within the classroom will help me to aid the students in building a strong foundation for their future.

    With the increasing importance of technology in today's fast-paced world, it is imperative for students to attain the technical knowledge necessary to continue their advancement in life.  Along with traditional ways of teaching, I feel it is the educator’s duty to prepare his/her students to be able to face these new technological advances with an optimistic outlook.  Incorporating new and old styles of teaching will allow both the students and the educator to grow as individuals.

    Through strong motivation and continual respect, I believe my goal as an educator can be easily reached.  By being a positive influence on my students, I feel that I can instill a desire to continue their educations at a higher level.  It is of my deepest aspirations to be able to prepare my students to have an optimistic outlook for their futures.
