Welcome to........

This homepage is a collection of work being completed by students from the Department of Urban Planning in the College of Architecture and Planning at Ball State University.  These second year students are researching, synthesizing and developing information and  ideas as part of their academic requirements for PLAN 202, a studio course exploring
land development and design criteria.

The class involves working with staff members of the Lafayette Urban Enterprise Association  (LUEA) in Lafayette, Indiana. A primary objective of the class project is to develop ideas for  redevelopment for an area recently added to the Urban Enterprise Zone.

All of the ideas, comments and viewpoints expressed on these  pages are for the purpose of discussion only. The student projects do not represent any official plans or viewpoints and are not  adopted or endorsed by Ball State University, the Lafayette Urban  Enterprise Association or the City of Lafayette. They are solely  the viewpoint of the students, generated for academic purposes and in the spirit of community service. The intent of this project  is to stimulate discussion and provide ideas for the LUEA, land and business owners, neighborhood residents, city officials and any interested others.
