Community Involved in
Workshop! |
Berne, IN--A Community charette is underway in
the town of Berne, Indiana. Students and faculty from the Ball State University
College of Architecture and Planning arrived early Thursday morning for an intense three
day workshop concerning the future of Berne. Nearly 100 people participated in the
event.
Over the three day event, students, faculty, and members of the community
will engage in a dialogue as to how Berne should develop physically, socially, and
economically in the twenty-first century while preserving its strong identity.

Charrette Location: South Adams Senior Center

Community members
are welcome to stop by the charrette location at the Berne Senior Center, 825 Hendricks
Street. Students and faculty members will present their findings, conceptual
drawings, and development recommendations in a community meeting this Monday evening,
November 1, at 7 pm in the South Adams High School Auditorium. |
