The College of Applied Sciences and Technology prepares students in five professional areas. Programs are administered through the Departments of Family and Consumer Sciences, Industry and Technology, and Military Science and the Schools of Nursing and Physical Education. Bachelor's degrees are offered in each area except for the Department of Military Science, which offers a minor in Military Science. Associate degrees are offered in the Departments of Family and Consumer Sciences and Industry and Technology . Programs in the college emphasize the application of knowledge. Teacher Education students in the college are required to earn a 2.5 grade-point average in each teaching major, minor, or endorsement.
