Additionally, these projects provide the "clients" with a range of ideas and thoughts that stimulate discussion and comment.  The work can help promote an idea, advance a concept, redirect current thinking and introduce new ideas for consideration.  The end result is the student work becomes a critical "talk piece" and stimulator of thought.

CAP:IC seeks to promote student work through two different venues.

Gallery
First is the physical gallery exhibit space, where models and boards can be displayed. Because space is limited and also visible to the public 24 hours a day, guidelines have been established to provide a uniform public image. Student projects are expected to meet these criteria (consider them a part of your program that cannot be altered!)
 

• Boards are to be 20 inches by 30 inches.  You may combine the two boards to produce a single 40 x 30 board.  Submissions not meeting this criteria are subject to alteration by CAP:IC staff or cannot be displayed.
• All boards MUST be neatly mounted on foam core by the student.  Unmounted boards will be considered unsuited for professional presentation.
• Remember to put your name on your model or project and board. 
• You may also consider working together as a class to develop further graphic guidelines.  Your work will be on display as a group, not individually!

The overall class project should also have an introduction board outlining the project, its guidelines, the site(s), and so forth.  The gallery exhibit will not have the luxury of having students and faculty there to explain the project, so this overall introduction board is very important!
