Michiana Open Results

Three lifters competed in the Michiana Open in Bangor Michigan on March 2nd, 2002.  Justin Ware had an excellent day with PR's in all three lifts, as well as a 45 pound increase in his total.  Mike Robertson had an average day with squat and bench, but came back with a PR 505 deadlift.  To finish off the day, Torrey Stott, a.k.a the Big Dawg, totaled a massive 1800 while just missing 1850.  Red lights on a 675 squat and 700 deadlift were all that held the heavyweight back, as all attempts looked fast and easy.  Stott and Robertson both qualified for the Collegiate Nationals in Killeen, TX, bringing the total number of lifters from BSU to 14.  Congrats to all lifters and good luck at Nationals!!!!  (Pictures will be posted as received)
