2002 Blacksmith Open

It was another successful trip to the Blacksmith Open this year for the Ball State powerlifting team. Fourteen team members were entered into the tournament and twelve came home with a 1st place trophy. As a side note Andy Fry bombed out attempting a measly  420 lb squat, but even his pathetic performance did not suppress the rage that the BSUPL team had that day as they went on to win yet another 1st place team victory. Matt Wenning had another stunning performance (check the #'s below) as he broke records and instilled fear in his  competition....he and the team now look onward to Collegiate Nationals.
