The Ball State Men's Lacrosse Club is a recognized student organization at Ball State University. We are a unique sports club that is nationally recognized and competes on a national level. Many alumni whom have played in previous years have worked very hard to organize the club in order to compete at the highest level possible and compete across the United States and Canada. Ball State Lacrosse is a member of the Men's College Lacrosse Association formerly known as the United States Lacrosse Intercollegiate Associates and a member of the Central Collegiate Lacrosse Association conference. We encourage all who are interested to come out and play; both experienced and new participants to the game are welcome.
Although we are considered a club sport by the university, we elevate ourselves by competing just like a normal varsity team would and run our program like a virtual varsity team. We practice hard, we play hard, and most importantly we are a one of a few student-run sports programs that is nationally recognized. If you've never played lacrosse before, but have been fascinated by the game, we will be more than glad to show you how to play. This, however, does not guarantee playing time, a prospective athlete new to lacrosse has to work twice as hard in order to be at the same level our experienced players are at. The game is challenging but not impossible to learn. If you are a high school senior and plan on attending Ball State please contact us in order for us to contact you for Fall try outs.
