Hello Once again to German Club members and interested parties! I'd like to take a few moments to tell you about a few thigns we have planned as we bring the fall semester to a close. First of all, our German Club t-shirts will be available for pre-order in NQ on Friday, December 1st from 10 AM to 3 PM, in front of NQ 138 (the office). Short sleeved shirts will cost $9 for members, and long sleeved shirts will cost $12. For any non-members who may wish to purchase a shirt, the prices will be $11 and $14 respectively. I have been meaning to mention that a small number of currently unclaimed membership fees have been donated, so if you would like to be a member of German Club but cannot afford the dues, please contact me to inquire about this. Anyway, shirts must be paid for at the time of order. Designer Jennifer Burroughs, don't forget to claim your free one, which is your prize for the design. Congratulations again and thanks for contributing to the contest! If you can't come by on Friday, send me an e-mail.

In addition to ordering t-shirts on Friday, current members will also be able to pick up their membership cards, so come on by between 10 and 3, even if you don't want a t-shirt.

Secondly, our annual Weihnachtsparty will be held in the Center for International Programs on Thursday, December 7th from 7 PM until 8:30 or so. Come celebrate with food, German Christmas carols, the Christmas story being read from a German Bible, and a few surprises. There is the possibility that those involved with the drama will need to meet an hour earlier--it depends on a few things, so I'll get back to that if the meeting proves necessary.
