Hello German Club members and interested parties. As some of you may remember from the year's first meeting, we have been thinking about the possibility of putting on a play, and several people have indicated interest. Drs. Johnson and Warner, as well as Anette Schindler (who is Vice President in Charge of the Theatre Interest Group) and I have met on more than one occasion to discuss what kind of a production or productions might be suitable. Before making final decisions on what we'll be performing, we need your feedback. We need to know how many of you would like to be a part of our show and in what aspects (ie acting, set design, costumes, props, etc.). We also need to know how much time specific individuals are willing to put into this project, and what sorts of parts people would want to play, and so forth. This will help us not only in deciding what to perform, but also in determining how to decide who will play various roles. So, if you're theatrically inclined and interested in being a part of the revival of this German Club tradition, please come to a meeting on Thursday, October 26, at 9 PM in the Botsford/Swinford residence hall main floor lounge. Botswin is located directly across from Lafollette on the north end of campus. It's the shorter of the two halls on that side of the street, having only four floors. If anyone needs better directions, please let me know. If you are interested in being a part of this but are unable to meet, please also e-mail me, so that I can let you know what has been going on and so that you can express your opinions. Thank you, and I hope to see you there!
Mit freunclichen Gruessen,
ich verbleibe Ihr Chris Stroop, Praesident des Deutschklubs
