Hello, all! This is to let you know that we will be showing an excellent German film, "Ich denke oft an Piroshka," on Monday, January 29, at 7:00 pm in the Center for International Programs (ask me if you don't know how to get there). Our secretary Kinsey Swartz will be preparing popcorn for everybody who comes: some with salt, for those who like to eat it the American way, and some with sugar, for those who prefer or would like to try the German way. The film is a wonderful, amusing love story, (although it is also rather sad), and the German is pretty understandable. I won't give away too much about the plot, but believe me, if you haven't seen it, you don't want to miss it. I'd like to remind everyone also that deutscher Stammtisch still takes place in the Student Center Talley every Tuesday from noon to 1. Come on by and practice your German. Also, if you have not yet picked up your German Club t-shirt from NQ 138, please do so.
Hope to see you soon,
Chris Stroop,
Praesident des Deutschklubs

PS. We're now getting our plans underway for this semester's activities. I want to remind you all that I welcome your suggestions, comments, and feedback. Also, if there is anyone who no longer wants to receive these e-mails, please let me know, and I will remove you from the list.
