How you can help the Wildlife Resqu Haus

Diana w/ FurbeeEven though the building has been constructed and is now fully operational, your help is still needed!

Each year the Wildlife Resqu Haus incurs approximately $5,000 in expenses for animal care and feeding, transportation, utilities, and other necessities. The Resqu Haus relies upon donations for all of these expenses; most, in fact, are paid out of Diana's own pocket.

Diana has served the community as a volunteer since 1964. The Robert Cooper Audubon Society invites you to serve the Resqu Haus in return. And remember that every single penny that you donate directly helps the animals.

The Wildlife Resqu Haus is a 501[c][3] non-profit organization, and your gifts are tax-deductible.

Adopt an animal

"Adopt" one of the following animals and you will receive a certificate of adoption and a color photograph of your animal. Your donation will pay for the feeding and care of the animal for three months. You may adopt an animal for as many three-month increments as you wish.

Permanent residents of the Resqu Haus are non-releasable but play a vital role in Diana's education programs.

  • "Skye," peregrine falcon: $135
  • "Furbee," screech owl: $90

Temporary residents are those animals being rehabilitated that will be returned to the wild.
