Fund Raising Committee- 

Chair : Maintain/Direct correspondence through the message board and with  other persons involved. To maintain correspondence with the Advertising/Recruiting Committee.To prepare a chairman's report for the monthly BSUASM meeting. 

      Other responsibilities: 

1.	To distribute BSUASM material for seeking donations.
2.	To maintain correspondence with potential donors. 
3.	Scheduling of the fund raiser event and miscellaneous arrangements.
4.	Price inquiries for fund raising events.



Outreach Committee-

Chair : Maintain/Direct correspondence through the message board and with other societies involved. To maintain correspondence with the Advertising/Recruiting Committee and Treasurer (cost inquiries). To prepare a chairman's report for the monthly BSUASM meeting. 
   
   Other responsibilities: 

1.	To maintain correspondence with the group involved in the activity ( School, business, etc..) 
2.	Arranging the event.
3.	Securing the facilities.
4.	To make arrangements for an occasional social event/field trip for BSUASM members.



Speakers Committee-
Chair : Maintain/Direct correspondence through the message board and to lead discussions/brainstorming for bringing in future speakers. To maintain correspondence with the Advertising/Recruiting Committee and the Treasurer (for Endowment Speakers) . To prepare a chairman's report for the monthly BSUASM meeting. 

Other responsibilities: 

1.	Initially contacting and maintaining correspondence with the speaker. 
2.	Assisting the speaker with preparations for the event (PowerPointŪ presentation, overhead projector)
3.	If necessary, securing an alternative facility for the event.
4.	To assist the Advertising/Recruiting Committee with distributing material for the event.



Advertising/Recruiting Committee-
Chair : Maintain/Direct correspondence through the message board and to lead discussions/brainstorming for advertising strategies. To maintain communication with the Treasurer (cost inquiries). To prepare a chairman's report for the monthly BSUASM meeting. 

Other responsibilities: 

1.	Developing fliers/literature for advertising events/activities in cooperation with other committees.
2.	Distributing fliers/literature to advertise events/activities in cooperation with other committees. 
3.	Inquiries for the cost of advertising.
4.	To verbally recruit members to BSUASM.
5.	To work in conjunction with Speakers Committee to bring speakers that appeal to Microbiology as well other cross-disciplines.
6.	To maintain the display case next to CL 33.
