ADOPT A RIVER CLEAN-UP

State University NREM Alumni Society at our
adopted section of the White River on Saturday,
May 31 for the rescheduled first clean-up of 2008!
The NREM Alumni Society
has adopted a one mile stretch of the White
River in Hamilton County as an ongoing community
service project. We will meet at 1:00
p.m. on
Saturday, May 31 at Koteewi Park, 12308 E. Strawtown Ave, Noblesville, IN. From there we
will be shuttled up to the new river access at
Lafayette Trace Park and then float down to the
adopted river segment.
Canoes, paddles, and
PFDs will be provided courtesy of the White
River Canoe Company. All participants will be
required to wear a PFD while on the water and
sign a waiver of liability.
Participants should
bring: drinking water, sunscreen,
gloves, and old shoes or water shoes. Family
members are welcome. Children must be 10 years
or older, be able to swim and be accompanied by
a parent.
Please reserve your spot
as early as possible but no later than May 27.

number where you can be reached on Saturday in
the event that we must postpone again due to
river conditions.
