Digital Video Response

Here is a example of me using Digital video for my website:

How I view teaching digital video?

I believe that digital video will help enhance my teaching practice in the classroom. It will be more interactive and challenging to learn about lessons or activities, which I will implement into my teaching curriculum. Digital Video can be integrated in all subject areas of the classroom. Within my classroom, it will motivate students to learn more about real-life experiences in their own community and society. I believe teaching it in the classroom helps show children that television and video games are not the only source of digital video in our world.

How I will teach Digital Video?

In teaching, I beleive that knowledge consists of learning about the real world experiences. As a pre-service teacher, I endeavor first and foremost to be able understand digital video and organize it in the most rational way possible within the classroom and to present it to the students. I will engage students in providing them with activities, with hands-on learning, opportunities to experiment and manipulate the objects from digital video. My intentions are to always make it clear to the learner, and structure my teaching methods for digital video independently; so each student can construct their own learning independently.

How will I grow as a teacher and learn from digital video?

In my teaching methods with digital, I feel that digital video will be very exciting and challenging to implement within my classroom. It will be hardwork for me to setup in the beginning but once I used my previous knowledge from what I learned from Edtec 350, it will be a success. Once, the students start learning from me and begin constructing their learning. I will grow from them by learning about new things that I discovery from the experiences; which I provided during thier constructing process of learning about digital video.

How might my students might learn digtal video?

(My students will learn through the approach of Dewey; which the following he would have called a reflective activity.)

I want my students to learn digital video through hands-on experiences. I believe learning hands-on experiences is very key to your student's learning process. I want my students to learn digital video through various activities, which engage the mind as well as the hands.

(Also, Please refer back to "How I will Teach Digital Video.")
