AGLS Newsletter - The Newsletter offers brief articles on special aspects of general and liberal education. Included are assessment news, reports on new program development, critiques of reports on higher education, pedagogical innovations for general education, faculty development initiatives, and book reviews.
As a member of AGLS, you will receive the Journal of General Education, published quarterly by the Pennsylvania State University Press. This journal contains articles, higher education debates, program evaluations, and reflections on the theory and practice of general and liberal studies.
The new list serve is housed at Ball State University. By using the LISTSERV, we can:
- Continue discussions of issues in general education beyond our annual conferences
- Obtain assistance and advice from others with experience in general education and
- Announce items of interest to others involved in general education.
