Materials
The TSA Glider is the flyer used in the TSA Flight Challenge event. Every TSA glider is made from specifically-sized blanks of balsa wood. The designs vary slightly from plane to plane, but the materials are the same.
Introduction
The balsa wood blanks for constructing the TSA glider measure as follows:
Wing: 1 sheet 300mm x 80mm x 1/16" thick
Fuselage: 300mm x 10mm x 1/8" thick
Tail: 1 sheet 150mm x 50mm x 1/32" thick
Sharks Tooth: 20mm x 10mm x 1/8" thick
