[ How to use this Web-based learning module ]

Let's take a look at gravity and weight. Take several objects from around your classroom. That would include paper, pencils, erasers and any other object small enough to put on your classroom scales. Weigh these objects and see which ones weigh the most. Why do the different objects weigh more or less than each other? Are some of the larger objects lighter than some of the smaller objects? Why is that?
Terms To Know:

Gravity – The attraction of the Earth on all objects. The more matter in an object, the greater the attraction.
