The Drag of Different Shapes in this experiment, we will look at how the different shapes of objects affect drag on the object. In addition, we'll see how drag is affected at different air speeds depending on the shape of the object. Materials: Differently-shaped objects with the same mass (add weights or paper clips to less-massive objects to make them the same mass as more massive objects), a spring scale, a variable-speed fan, string and a ring stand or vertical support.
