My Assessment
From Walt Disney's chart of Annual Income, in 2002 alone they had a little fluctuation from quarter to quarter.  June was their strongest month.  June is a time when the Theme  Parks have their most tourists and rides available.  As a whole, I would say the financial condition is very well.  Over the years society has just seen Walt Disney grow and prosper into a large company.  Their assets continue to grow and their relationship with other companies increase as well.  Their biggest money maker, Walt Disney Theme Parks continue to increase their rides, games, and memorabilia.  For the future, I see Walt Disney growing and expanding their company into more subsidiaries and diverse areas of entertainment.
