Lovesick Teenagers

Chapter one starts out with a real eye catching phrase on the interdictory page. In bolded oversized font it says, "Lovesick teenagers..." It goes on to talk about the use of the Internet in different countries by teenagers and how their government restricts what they can and cannot see. I think that their computers serve as an escpe to another world they would never have seen without the Internet. Their governments don't want them to acquire information that could possibly make them more knowledgeable, rebel, or possibly make them rich! If people weren't interested in what or who was out there, then China wouldn't have the problem with the propagation of unlicensed cybercafes. This should be a red flg to their government that people are, by nature, curious of what goes on around them; they want to be socially and politically liberatied! People want to know the whole truth not the illusion of it!
