American Journal Review
The American Journal Review, AJR, is published and printed monthly, exept for the months January, Feburary, July, and August when they are printed bimonthly, by Phillip Merrill College of Journalism. This journal has a different theme for every issue. This overall theme is what is presented on the cover and what all the feature articles are written about. For example, the May 2003 issue tha I looked over was on the war in Iraq. Every feature article had to do with the war. These articles ranged from the war on tv to how journalist cover the war. The cover also showed a reporter in Iraq. The only real targeted readers were people that were interested in the news; basically the people that would rather read the news and get a better perspective and insight than what the newspaper gives. Like the other journals, the advertisements were limited and were focused toward journalistic awards and subscrtiptions. The advertisements are only placed at the beginning, middle and end.
