— This section is a workshop-style, distance-learning composition course,
carrying 3 semester hours and equivalent to many first-year composition
courses in Indiana. It is sponsored by Ball State University and the Ball
State English Department. ENG 104 is the second-level composition course
required of all Ball State bachelor's degree students. The normal prerequisite
is ENG 103 at Ball State or an equivalent general composition course.
The focus of this course is writing
about literature, particularly short fiction. The syllabus describes the
various types of assignments and links to more detailed information about
them.
