THE CORE TRANSFER LIBRARY (CTL) SUBCOMMITTEE
PROGRESS AND
PLANNING PAGE
Updated:
June 13, 2007
Thank you all for your hard work. This will be my last update to the CTL files. I wish the person who takes over for me luck and any questions or personal calls from any of you are certainly welcome:
The following is a screenshot of the files on the Web site / disk (depending upon how you accessed it).

The files are, as follows:
ICHE Presentations - this is a folder containing the PowerPoint that Ken used in his first presentation to the Commission, and the official notice of acceptance.
Most Taken Data - contents of folder self explanatory, a copy of Jay's report is in here too.
PolicyDocs - a folder containing the documents on designating CTL courses in registration systems and on dual credit principles.
Cover.doc - this is the proposed signature page for the "clean set" - if you recall, the idea was for each institution to sign the final version of the CTL docs, or at least the first official iteration of it.
CTLWorkbook.xls - this is where it all happens baby! The first tab of the workbook is the scorecard, the second is the index, the third is the index for "forms II" (see below), the fourth is an email/phone list for the subcommittee, and the last is the data set version of the CTL, which can be used for updating your transfer articulation documents and in-system tables.
EmailDraft.doc - this is a quick draft of the email I made for Ken, with the intent of having him send it out ahead of the clean set.
FormsII.doc/pdf - these are the half-signed forms for the next iteration of the CTL, including things like CAD and Drawing I.
ICTL.doc/pdf - this is the most recent version of the Indiana Core Transfer Library, changes to this document must be announced to everyone and approved.
Index.html - the file you are looking at right now.
Index.pdf - this is the pdf version of the index (tab 2) from the CTLWorkbook.
OutstandingFormsPWL***.*** - these are the Word doc, pdf blanks, and pdf signed copies of the courses from the 73 ICTL that Purdue is struggling to get finished even as I type. They have made good efforts, but my plan is to discuss what we can do with the signed forms tomorrow (June 14, 2007).
RejectData.xls - the name says it all. These are the courses that didn't make it. Grab a handful of dirt and throw it on the grave.
Score.pdf - this is the pdf version of the score card (tab 1) from the CTLWorkbook.
Undertsanding the CTL2-0.doc - my latest attempt at a report and summary of the CTL project. A complete roster of subcommittee members may be found in this document.
NOTE - if a change is made to the ICTL that adds, deletes, or changes a course not taught label, the data on tabs one and two of the workbook must be changed. Also, any new approvals must be changed on tab two of the workbook as well. Remembering to make changes in all locations can be a bear. KEEP A BACKUP! Also, keep in mind that any changes at all will probably affect the CTL data set on the last tab of the workbook.
