Cliff Hick and Neil Dolson have agreed to host the second annual Great
White North Tour. A joint banquet will be held on at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, August
21, 2004 at the Best Western Inn.

Endurance Riders
Endurance riders will have the opportunity to earn five
Iron Butt Association Certificates during this ride. Riders can elect to do one
to all of the rides.
- Day 1, Monday, August 16, 2004: Lower
Great Lakes 1000 1,000+ miles around Lake Erie AND Ontario in less
than 24 hours. The ride will begin and end in the Dundee, Michigan.

- Day 2, Tuesday, August 17, 2004: 1000 mile Transition Ride. This
ride will go from the host hotel in the Toledo area to a host hotel in the
Sault Saint Marie area. Riders completing this along with the other four
rides will have accomplished a Saddlesore 5000. Click here for Details

stay on the interstate at the I75/I64 interchange near Lexington.

Modification: Critter and Mike Senty suggested that
there is some construction in Deluth. We did not modify the maps but we did
add their comments to the directions. I looks like you are going to be
better off to just follow the signage.

Technically, you could do a SS2000 and a SS3000 or some other odd
combination. We're not going to go there, we will only handle certification of
the following rides.

Prerequisites
The SS1000 and SS2000 have no prerequisites. The SS3000 requires you to
be an IBA Member. The SS5000 requires that you have done a SS2000, BBG, or one of
the qualifying rallies.

SS1000 Certification (1 Certificate Only) is $25.00
SS2000 Certification (1 Certificate Only; No certificate for the Great
Lake SS1000's) is $25.00
SS2000 Certification (2 Certificates Only) is $50.00 for Rides
including the Transition Ride
SS2000 Certification (3 Certificates Only) is $75.00 for Rides not
including the Transition Ride
SS3000 Certification (1 Certificate Only; No certificate for the Great Lake
SS1000's) is $25.00
SS3000 Certification (3 Certificates Only) is $75.00 for Rides
including the Transition Ride
SS3000 Certification (4 Certificates Only) is $100.00 for Rides not
including the Transition Ride
SS5000 Certification (1 Certificate Only; No certificate for the Great Lake

Group Record
The current group record for a Saddlesore 5000 is 21 Riders.
This was done in TeamStrnage's 1999
Butt Lite. This looks like it will be a very large event, so we have a shot at
this record.
