Some of Ball State's finest student talent participated in the Sept. 23 Talent Search as part of this year's Homecoming festivities. The theme of this year's homecoming was "Red, White + U." The Ball State Cardinals  beat the Kent State Golden Flashes 41-20 at the Sept. 27 homecoming game. Ball State's record is 5-0.

Digital Policy Institute hosts conference
The Ball State Digital Policy Institute will host its first national conference Oct. 3-4 called "Digital Policy in the Information Age." The event will bring together regulators, policy makers and industry professionals to discuss national digital policy and regulatory issues. FULL STORY

President Jo Ann M. Gora moderated the second of three statewide gubernatorial debates on Sept. 23. The debate was held in Jasper with participating candidates Republican incumbent Mitch Daniels, Democrat Jill Long Thompson and Libertarian Andrew Horning. A final debate with the three candidates is scheduled for Oct. 15 in Bloomington.
