Interim report finds telecom reform working
Ball State's Digital Policy Institute (DPI) reports that Indiana is prospering 18 months after the intrastate telecommunications industry was deregulated. In a new white paper, DPI finds that $516 million has been invested in capital improvements and more than 2,200 jobs were created in the last 18 months. FULL STORY

Electronic Feild Trip
Kids get a whale of a lesson during Electronic Field Trip
More than 50,000 schoolchildren will get the chance to follow gray whales during their annual migration from the cold Alaskan waters down to the warm waters near Mexico. Students will take this virtual trip from the comfort of their own classroom through Ball State's Electronic Field Trip (EFT) program. FULL STORY
