"That I think is a critically important issue and one for which I hope Ball State University will really make a name for itself. I think we have the potential to really keep students in the state. I'm proud of the fact that 90 percent of our students are Indiana residents and that 80 percent of our alums stay in the state. But that means providing them with the jobs that will keep them here and the quality of life that will keep them here."
