"I really thought that this university had, and the phrase now has become trite it's been used so many times, the potential for greatness. And what I meant by that was that the university had really invested its resources wisely. It had done really remarkable things, I thought, in the last 20 years. Especially in the last 10 years. And to me it was a very exciting university at which to be. There's a real sense of entrepreneurship here that I don't think you find in a lot of universities. And a real sense of commitment to the community. And that was exciting."
