Ball State President Jo Ann M. Gora hosted Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels Oct. 26 during a campus visit that included this discussion with Ball State faculty describing their participation in the university's Building Better Communities initiative, which is designed to spur economic development and quality of life advancement in Indiana. Faculty spoke about entrepreneurship assessment and consulting from the Miller College of Business, the College of Architecture and Planning's Community-Based Projects, charter schools sponsored by Teachers College and the university's wireless network, which led to Intel Corporation ranking Ball State as the nation's best wireless campus.
