I have a question . . .
From Campus Map
Mailing Addresses for People and Buildings
Like many universities, most of our campus buildings are not assigned street addresses. Locating buildings on campus
Use our alphabetical listing of buildings to find locations, or if you have a GPS device, use our GPS coordinates.

If you want the street address because you are using an online map service, use the general campus address of 2000 W. University Ave. to map your way directly to Ball State. Then use our printable map (pdf) or pickup a larger, free map at the Admissions Visitor's Desk in Lucina Hall or Parking Services in the Student Center.

Mailing Addresses
If you want to send mail to a campus department or office, you do not need a specific mail address for a building. Instead you need the general campus mail address (2000 W. University Ave.), plus the individual's and department's name. The building name is not necessary.

Here is an example of the best way to address a letter to a Ball State employee:

Jennifer Doe, professor
Department of Anthropology
Ball State University
2000 W. University Ave.
Muncie IN 47306

If you want to send a letter to a Ball State student who resides in a campus residence hall, here is an example of how it should be addressed:

Jason Hernandez
Rogers Hall, Box 123
Ball State University
Muncie IN 47306

If you have other questions regarding how mail should be addressed to campus locations, contact Central Mailing at (765) 285-8429.
