Janet Johns, Team Captain for University Marketing & Communications asked her co-workers if they would like to consider wearing casual dress (including jeans and no ties for guys) on Fridays to support the United Way fund. Her proposal: $2 per week or $20 for the semester (a savings of $4) beginning 9/29 will allow an employee the privilege of casual Friday for the rest of the semester!  Johns told her co-workers that participation is optional but payment is for the entire semester--no refunds if they are not in the office on any given Friday. The $2 cash can be paid weekly at any time during the week up to and including the Friday morning jeans are being work. 

The response, according Johns, was great!
