The Tradition  Continues

Ball State University has been a community leader in giving for numerous years. The BSU United Way Campaign is one of many ways university employees can give back to their community.  This fund-raising effort offers a convenient way to contribute to the charitable organizations of choice through a Payroll Deduction Card.

The university values its partnership with the community and United Way. Since its inception several decades ago, the campaign has continued to grow. In 2007 the Delaware County Campaign for United Way exceeded its $2.57 million goal. Ball State employees made contributions totaling $186,251. This figure represents additional contributions made after the article was published on January 25 in Campus Update. 

The 2008 Campus United Way Campaign goal represents a one percent increase over the total 2007 contributions made by university employees.

Funds serve to assist 26 United Way affiliated agencies. Designations also can be made to other charitable causes that are not affiliated with United Way. Community Partners
