The University can again send e-mail from Google Mail (Gmail) using a BSU.EDU address.  By altering verification and spam filtering methods, UCS is able to allow e-mail forged as BSU.EDU back through filters, while still providing top of the line protection from spam and phishing attacks.  Messages sent to appear as though they are from BSU.EDU will be permitted from the following services:  Google Mail (Gmail), Hotmail and Windows Live Mail. 

At this time Yahoo Mail sent as though it originated from BSU.EDU will be blocked.
