Occasionally a workshop is offered in advanced scripting languages such as JavaScript and Visual Basic Script. Specific applications include: Macromedia Dreamweaver, Macromedia Flash, Macromedia Fireworks, Adobe ImageReady, Fetch, Internet Explorer, and BBEdit Lite. Applications and content discussed in "QuickTime & Interactive Multimedia Development and Deployment" are also used to develop content for the WWW.

Both labs also support desktop publishing and print graphics (2-D) for print-based media. Both labs support printing print projects from the desktop to Ball State University's Printing Services. Applications supported include Quark Express Passport, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Macromedia Freehand. Students and faculty may import media using USB, Firewire, flatbed and slide scanners, and analog and digital video
