Nothing at all happens when you turn on the computer.
- Check the computer and the monitor to make sure that they are both plugged in and turned on. There will be lights on both the monitor and computer if they are turned on. If they are plugged into a power strip, make sure that the power strip is plugged in and turned on.
- If the monitor and computer are both plugged in and nothing still happens, contact your warranty service or the manufacturer for further help.
You can hear the machine booting, but do not see an images on the screen.
- Check to see that the monitor is turned on. You should see a light on the monitor. If the light is not on, push power button on the monitor. If it still does not come on, make sure that the monitor is plugged in.
- If the monitor is on and plugged in, make sure that the cable that runs from the back of the monitor to the computer is plugged tightly into the computer.
The computer is making a clicking or banging noise and will not boot.
If the computer is making a clicking or banging nose and will not boot, the hard drive may be corrupt.
The machine starts to boot into Windows and then locks up or gives error message.
- Shut down and power off the computer and then turn the computer back on.

The computer is booting into Safe Mode.
