Research Consulting
The Research Design staff work with faculty, staff, and students on both individual and funded research projects, as well as with graduate students on their master's theses, dissertations, or other research projects. Consultation is provided in the following areas:

  • Research design,
  • Instrumentation/survey construction,
  • Techniques of data collection and entry, and
  • Statistical analysis and interpretation.

The staff can also provide assistance with the data analysis and statistical software SPSS and SAS. In addition to data analysis assistance, the consultants can assist with the design of surveys or questionnaires, especially those for which responses will be coded on optical scanning sheets. We can also help develop a data coding scheme (codebook).

To arrange for consultation, contact Dr. James Jones at 285-1506.
