IE7 and iLocker
Welcome to the new Internet Explorer IE7 The new version of Internet Explorer is out and ready to go.  IE7 incorporates several new features including improved navigation as well as tighter security that effectively fights malicious software, or Malware.  Microsoft is sending its new version of Internet Explorer out to users as a Critical Update

Potential Adjustments for IE 7
After downloading IE7, you may have trouble with the FTP drive in iLocker.  To solve this problem, you have three options.

OPTION ONE:  DOUBLE LOG-IN

If you are using Internet Explorer, type in your iLocker account address.
EXAMPLE: ftp://ilocker.bsu.edu/users/jdoe

Press Enter and navigate to Page and Open FTP site in Windows Explorer.  This will require an additional Log-in to access iLocker.

OPTION TWO:  MY COMPUTER

This option allows you to just log-in once.  First, select the Start Menu.  Next, scroll to and select My Computer OR any folder.  Once you have opened a folder, simply type in the FTP address.
EXAMPLE: ftp://ilocker.bsu.edu/users/jdoe.

You will now be prompted to Log-in using your BSU Username and Password.  Once you hit enter, you will have access to files in the FTP Drive

OPTION THREE: iLOCKER PREMIUM ACCESS TOOL

UCS recommends using this option to access iLocker.  The iLocker tool is a software tool that allows you to access your iLocker space from anywhere.  To use the iLocker Premium Access Tool you must currently have a BSU Computer Username and Password as well as an iLocker account.

Click iLocker Premium Access Tool to download and run the tool on your computer.

It's that easy.  You may receive a warning, but you can safely disregard this message and hit run to download the software.
