Adaptive Computer Technology has the following resources available. After each description is the disability for which it is intended.

Adaptive Hardware

Articulating Keyboard Trays- keyboard trays that are articulating to any height and angle. Provides accessibility and comfort for wheelchair users (MI)

Aladdin Rainbow 14" CCTV- magnification viewer with optional color variations, (VI, LD)

Franklin Language Master- talking dictionary which functions as a dictionary, thesaurus, grammar handbook, and spelling corrector (LD, VI)

Intellikeys keyboard- large character keyboard with optional key guard that is used by individuals with mobility impairments (Ml)

Juliet Braille Printer- printer capable of creating double sided Braille output from computer documents (VI)

Kensington Trackball- Mouse-like input device that utilizes a free-rolling ball for maximum control (MI)

Magic Wand Keyboard - Mini adaptive computer keyboard and mouse. Needs only slight hand or head movement and little strength to work. (MI)

Magnasight 20" closed circuit television (CCTV)-system which enlarges printed material for users with low vision; variation in screen color is also optional (i.e.- positive and negative images) (VI, LD)

Natural keyboard- ergonomically correct keyboard that allows for proper hand and wrist placements (MI)

Braille Display 80- refreshable Braille display that can be used with or as an alternative to voice output (D/HH/ VI)

Tiger Braille printer produces graphics.

Dragon Naturally Speaking- Speech recognition software (MI, LD)

Duxbury Braille- Braille translation software (LD, VI)

Kurzweil 1000 3000- optical character recognition (OCR) scanner that converts printed material into an electronic format (VI, LD)

TextHELP Read & Write- Tool for people w/reading & writing difficulties. Includes screen reading, advanced phonetic spell checker, homophone support & word prediction (LD)

Window-Eyes- screen reading software for MS windows (VI)

ZoomText Xtra- screen enlargement software which magnifies the text sent to the screen (VI)
